Roux Magazine welcomes submissions of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction in traditional as well as experimental styles.

Please include a brief cover letter with any submission. Be sure to include phone and (if possible) email contact information. While the magazine welcomes unsolicited manuscripts, it cannot accept responsibility for their loss or damage.

Regrettably, we cannot accept submissions via email at this time. We will, however, answer any questions you might have at by email.

Manuscripts will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope. And even then it will take quite some time, due to the amount of correspondence we receive. If you need an answer on a submission right away, we will respond to email requests as soon as possible.

All submissions must be in English and previously unpublished.

We generally pay in copies (2) of the magazine and acquire “First Rights” upon publication.

Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but please be considerate and notify us immediately if the manuscript is accepted for publication elsewhere.
